Minorities Will Revive the Republican Party

You hear a lot of political pundits predict that the Republican Party will cease to exist due to the fact that minority groups will soon become the majority.

Basically the "experts" say that the Republican Party must turn into a party of liberal ideas in order to remain relevant.

It's true that the country is on the verge of embracing socialism and the Republican Party is in for some difficult times, especially if no adequate leader emerges.

After a while, however, the minorities turned majorities will grow up and become annoyed they're still being told what to do every step of the way.

"You're an adult now and can make your own decisions, Jose. Now, this is what doctor you'll go to, this is what university you'll attend (because they're in desperate need of Hispanic students), this is how we're going to invest your money, so you needn't worry about that, etc..."

Then Jose's going to say, "But I want to make those decisions myself. I can think for myself. I can create my own success. I want freedom to prosper."

"But freedom is what caused your people to be oppressed, Jose."

"Look at all the successful minorities in this country, starting with Barack Obama. The only thing that matters is my ability and determination," Jose will counter.

"That's antiquated thinking, Jose. Now I'm going to get started registering you for the classes society thinks it's best for you to take?"

I don't mean to go all Ayn Rand here, but the simple fact of the matter is that if you strip freedom away from people they will revolt, and unfortunately the naïve among us are currently electing individuals who wish to strip more and more of our liberty.

So while the pundits are correct in saying that the Republican Party will be in shambles once the minority becomes the majority, it will only be a temporary situation.

Because regardless of race, creed or color; people hate being told what to do, which is why children are in such a hurry to grow up.

And I'm confident this country will eventually grow up.

We're All Closeted Racists

Unfortunately, if you're Caucasian, everything you're doing not to further the cause of a minority is racist.

Sorry, I know you don't want to hear that you're constantly acting in a racist manner, but we can no longer deny facts.

And please excuse those of us who can't keep up with the definition of "racism" as it changes frequently and seems to differ based on which minority is speaking.

Because I think we missed the day where the definition of racism changed from, "discrimination based on race," to, "not asking yourself, 'will my actions assist a minority group,' before doing anything."

Because if every action we take is not to further the success of a minority; we're racist.

During the 2008 Presidential Campaign between Barack Obama and John McCain, bringing up the fact that Barack Obama had a spiritual guru who'd uttered phrases such as "God damn America," and, "the US of KKK," was considered racist.

Again, even mentioning the aforementioned Jeremiah Wright was considered racist; though it had nothing to do with the fact that Reverend Wright or then Senator Obama are African-Americans.

Why? Because those vile enough to bring up the subject of Reverend Wright and his fervent Anti-Americanism weren't furthering the career of Senator Obama or Reverend Wright.

Let's talk college football.

If you choose to hire a Caucasian coach to lead your college football team, you are a racist.

It doesn't matter what your reasons are; no African-American head coach equals blatant racism.

Why?

Because the racists in question are not living every moment of their life to reverse decades of racism.

When you download a CD from iTunes, do you choose the new Travis Tritt, Jewel, or John Mayer offering? Or do you go with a 50 Cent, Kanye West or Lil Wayne recording?

If you answered Travis Tritt, Jewel or John Mayer, why that means you're a racist.

Just like it doesn't matter if there is a legitimate reason to hire a Caucasian coach, it doesn't matter if you went with Travis Tritt because you like country music, Jewel because you enjoy her soothing voice or John Mayer because you're confused about your sexuality. No, none of that matters. It only matters that you didn't further the career of a minority.

Shame on you.

Don't buy music from a Caucasian artist that you'll enjoy; buy music produced by a minority and learn to like it.

Because it's not about what you want; it's about what's best for the minority community as dictated by the minority community.*

Remember, what you want has nothing to do with you; and if you think differently... why you're a raving bigot.

*Minority community retains the ability to change their mind on a whim.

It Takes a Little Thought to Vote Republican

There is a lot of news out there about a Zogby poll that scientifically proves those who voted for President-elect Barack Obama were woefully ignorant about the issues. (Basically the poll revealed that most Obama voters didn't know basic facts such as which political party currently controlled Congress, etc.)

What a shocker!

In response, Democrats are asking, "Are you calling us stupid?"

The answer would be no. We're calling you ignorant regarding the issues; which the poll proves. It was you who called Republicans stupid after George W. Bush got re-elected in 2004.

See, the problem with your, "Republicans are stupid while Democrats are smart" argument is that it takes a little thought to vote Republican, while we learned today that voting for the Democrat means you know very little about the state of our great country.

And it's not that you're stupid, so please don't accuse everyone who points to a scientific poll, the one that says Obama voters were not well informed, of making disparaging remarks about your intellect.

Obama voters just simply don't follow politics. If I asked someone who won the 1985 Super Bowl and they responded with a blank stare, I wouldn't call them an idiot. I would simply deduce they don't follow sports.

See the connection?

You see, being ill informed means you were easily swayed by the partisan media and persuasive Barack Obama talking points.

Barack Obama said things like, "I'll give 95% of the country a tax break," and you non-politics-following people thought, "He looks like an honest guy and I heard somewhere that Democrats do look after the little guy."

Of course you don't realize that Democrats love taxes and we could very well have a case in which Mr. Obama was relying on your ignorance. He knew you weren't going to discover for yourselves that he and those with similar viewpoints believe taxing everyone is the way to go. He told you what you wanted to hear – and you bought it.

The other night Jon Stewart tried to tell Bill O'Reilly that an Obama victory meant that the country was not center-right as most polls suggest.

But let's break down the advantages held by Barack Obama going into the 2008 Presidential Election:

The United States is in the midst of two unpopular wars.
The mainstream media was in the tank for Barack Obama.
President George W. Bush is extremely unpopular.

When you add the fact that Barack Obama hid his far left beliefs from the country by campaigning as a centrist, along with the fact that John McCain had a lead in the polls until a Democrat-caused financial crisis hit the United States, it's a wonder why Obama didn't win with Reagan over Mondale type numbers.

(For those of you who voted for Barack Obama; Reagan defeated Walter Mondale by 512 electoral votes. That's a lot.)

Instead Obama only won by 8 million votes. A healthy number yes; but a decent McCain campaign would have cut that number in half... and possibly kept a Republican in the White House.

And Mr. Stewart mentioned that far left people like him are not really far left. Instead he claims that they simply believe in an increase in taxes for the richest in America from 36 to 39 percent. But something tells me Jon Stewart is currently only paying the minimum as required by law. Actually, he probably has a team of lawyers trying desperately to make sure he pays far less than the minimum. In other words, Mr. Stewart won't give the government what he believes a person of his income should give until he is forced to do so.

That's the Democrats new mantra, no?

"Come tell us how to live, President Obama – without you we are sinners; with you we are noble."

I guess we can't blame the Democrats for not having faith in the American people when they don't even have faith in themselves.
