One of the ways the liberal media deceitfully sways public opinion is by quoting experts.
"Experts say the earth will soon explode if Obama's environmentally friendly bill is not immediately passed."
"Experts say Obama's healthcare bill will save money and provide quality care to millions of uninsured Americans."
Of course I can find many experts who say we're not experiencing a warming of the globe, and I can find even more experts that say Obama's healthcare plan will increase cost and reduce the number of folks who are able to receive quality healthcare.
In other words, liberal "journalists" start out with a cause and then write a story that furthers that cause by locating experts whose findings agree with their worldview.
They don't search for experts with opposing points of view; they get a single expert and declare him or her to be an expert of such magnitude that opposing points of view are not necessary.
Disagree with us if you like, but no one can say we conservatives aren't truthful.
I don't sit here and say, "I know for a fact that man is not causing global warming." Instead I proclaim, "So many scientists differ that it's impossible to say for sure that pollution is ruining the planet and I'm not about to destroy the economy of the United States so that maybe we'll improve the environment when there is no conclusive evidence that says the planet is in danger of destruction."
My favorite from the mainstream media is, "Experts say the recession over."
Really?
The recession is over.
Is the recession over, or do you "journalists" want people to think it's over so they'll vote for Democrats in 2010 and 2012. Seems you "journalists" don't really care how the economy is doing as long as your party of choice remains in control.
If people lose jobs, that's fine, as long as the Democrats have power.
You don't want Americans to have all the information from which they can make a decision. Instead you want to mislead them into voting the way you'd like them to vote.
I'll never understand how "journalists" can exhibit the same behavior as oppressive governments.
It's amazing that having your favorite political party in power is the end. It doesn't matter if your ultimate desire means a lower standard of living for everyone, as well as a reduction of healthcare for hard-working Americans... as long as there is a "D" beside the name of the majority of those in Congress you're happy and will gladly defy your ethical responsibilities.
